Marc and Stacia found Primerica in 1989.  Their combined income from Marc’s work as a Rep for Merck Pharmaceuticals and Stacia’s income as a Marketing Coordinator for Yamaha was around $65,000 a year.  Although Marc says he worked “spare time…not part-time” their family saw a glimpse of financial freedom and they persisted at their new business.

After 2 1/2 years, The Cox’s made serious part time money and realized the potential if Marc went full time.   Family and friends were shocked with Marc’s choice to leave his dream job and fire his boss.   Within 8 months of going full time in Primerica, Merck pharmaceutical announced a massive lay off which would have affected Marc.  Marc and Stacia were promoted to Regional Vice President in 1993 and opened their first office in Los Alamitos, CA.  In 1995 they earned $165,000 in income.   In November 1997 they were promoted to Senior Vice President and by 2000 Marc held the coveted title of National Sales Director.

In 2004 Marc and Stacia earned over $800,000 in income, and they presently have 19 R.V.P.’s, and 13 offices located in California, Georgia, and Texas.  Their mission is within 5 years to lead others to open 34 new offices.  Marc says “I just thank God I fired Corporate America before it fired me.”

2023 continues to reflect Marc and Stacia’s dream to live in San Diego by the beach. Their beautiful home was purchased in Encinitas, California in 2003 where they continue to enjoy the beach life with their 3 children: Bryson, Blake, and Brooklynn.
